Direction
A professional theatre director will cast the performers and co-ordinate the performances to create a complete and thoroughly enjoyable evening. Each of the simultaneous shows will be directed at local level by a show director linked to the artistic director.
Cast
The Bard’s Night is honoured to have the participation of 60 actors, who will be cast and rehearsed by the director. In addition, 40 musicians will perform in groups of 4, across the 10 venues. The talents of other entertainers will also be announced and included as they are confirmed. Part of the appeal of the evening is that different venues will be able to see pieces performed in another venue – and this will change throughout the evening, co-ordinated by the artistic director.
